Public Information Officers Group

Membership

Join the North Texas Public Information Officers Group to connect to local public information officers from around the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Membership in the NTXPIO Group brings many advantages, including networking opportunities, discounted trainings, business support and more.

The more you engage and take advantage of your membership benefits, the more you’ll get out of your membership.

Reasons to become a North Texas PIO Group member:

Emergency events dictate an immediate response to the community. Public communication is a critical response function following a terrorism incident, natural disaster, localized pandemic, or other major emergency. Pre-incident planning, coordination, and preparation will improve the ability of local jurisdictions to promote effective public safety, public health, and healthcare communications with the public during the response and recovery to an emergency.

Networking

Network and learn from Public Information Officers from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and members of the media. Members come from multiple local and county government agencies, nonprofits and other community partners. Networking opportunities include general meetings, special events, luncheons, and more. Click for a full list of upcoming networking opportunities.

Professional Development & Training

Improve your communications and public affairs skills through discounted specialized training opportunities and resources. Embrace networking opportunities to ask questions and help others solve complex PIO problems. Click to access members-only resources.
